I don’t think that photographing babies has necessarily become “easier,” I just understand now that I am required to chase, coo, cuddle, entertain, and impress the little one in front of my camera – all at the same time!
But you know what? I honestly have such a love for what I do.
Creating cute portraits for parents is such an honor to me, because as a mother, I know how quickly they grow, and how the regret of not having enough pictures tends to haunt you.
And just like with my daughter, I love getting down on the floor with kids and making them laugh. I’m astounded by how no matter how many times you see a little baby finally roll on to their belly after struggling for 5 minutes, it never gets old, and it is never not cute.
This little guy here, had the cutest roll-on-the-belly! I couldn’t get enough of it!
With a little patience, and imagination, photographing babies is a piece of cake, minus the calories =]
