Baby Photography – Bay Area Portrait Photographer [6 month session]

I don’t think that photographing babies has necessarily become “easier,” I just understand now that I am required to chase, coo, cuddle, entertain, and impress the little one in front of my camera – all at the same time!

But you know what? I honestly have such a love for what I do.

Creating cute portraits for parents is such an honor to me, because as a mother, I know how quickly they grow, and how the regret of not having enough pictures tends to haunt you.

And just like with my daughter, I love getting down on the floor with kids and making them laugh. I’m astounded by how no matter how many times you see a little baby finally roll on to their belly after struggling for 5 minutes, it never gets old, and it is never not cute.

This little guy here, had the cutest roll-on-the-belly! I couldn’t get enough of it!

With a little patience, and imagination, photographing babies is a piece of cake, minus the calories =]

Baby Photography – Bay Area Portrait Photographer [3 month session]

My love for photography grew the moment I was able to start snapping pictures of my newborn daughter. It was as if I instantly felt my calling to become a professional portrait photographer as soon as I took that first snapshot of her.

Of course, I needed a portfolio, so I did a few free sessions, and held a couple model calls.

One of my maternity models also won a newborn session, and from that newborn session, she told me how she wanted to be able to document the first year of her daughter’s life.

“That’s perfect!” I was so excited, I probably literally yelled at her!

I’d been wanting to do milestone sessions for awhile, I just hadn’t met a parent that was interested yet.

But now, the journey has begun, and I get to keep seeing this adorable little girl every 3 months to capture all the adorable new things she can do as she grows! Then, for her 1st Birthday, we’ll have a cake smash!
